Owner is patient and lovely. Banh Mis are filling and delicious! Sticky pork belly and sticky chai were our favourites
We tried the beef brisket bahn, the sticky pork vermicelli, the big hug and a variety of drinks. All were absolutely delicious, in fact so tasty that we ordered another breakfast Bahn mi…again superb. The owner is lovely and made us all feel so at home. We will be back
I dropped into Pollen on ANZAC afternoon. I thought myself lucky to find an open cafe. I was hoping at best for a cup of tea after a very wet cycling trip. Instead I was greeted by a welcoming vibe and the very friendly lady owner. She took great care with my order and brewed my tea to perfection. I was beyond delighted with their vast array of their mostly home made, gluten free cakes, muffins and slices. I enjoyed the carrot cake and I even came back two days later to buy a bag of these cakes to take home for my freezer. I so wish that this was my local cafe. I will be back, keep up the excellent work
Hidden gem in Kyneton ! Got 2 vegan tofu buns + a chai — everything was a 10/10, including the super friendly service and great vibe the place had ! Thank you for having us, we will be back soon!
Lovely green and peaceful Asian themed dog-friendly courtyard accessible by red gate 1 shop closer to corner. Complimentary dog biscuit and plenty of pats to settle my pup. A few too many simultaneous bahn mi orders led to ours missing the requested coriander.
What an amazing place! I just learnt this existed, Banh mi in Kyneton! And the most incredible chai and coffee and fantastic vibes all round. Someone give Edward a promotion they were fantastic and so friendly! 10/10! Can't wait to visit again!
My almond magic was "bang on" for strength and texture. The vermicelli salad with beef brisket was fresh, fragrant and beautifully balanced. The lemon, coconut and yoghurt cupcake was light and flavourful. Pollen has a friendly and cosy vibe. Easy to see why it is a favourite hangout for locals.
I’ve tried the banh mi & banana bread, they’re so delicious! The pork filling is full & tasty, the bread is soft. The banana bread is also great, the texture is soft & crunchy, it doesn’t taste too sweet too. The owner is so friendly & hearty. It’s so nice to eat there, surely will come back soon!❤️
I had the five-spiced pork bánh mì today and it absolutely blew me away! 🥖 The flavors were so well-balanced and delicious. I also tried the Captain spiced chai, and it was such a unique and special taste — I really enjoyed it. The cozy vibe of the place made me feel right at home, and Alison was so friendly and helpful in explaining everything. It was my first time visiting, and I had such a wonderful experience. Definitely will be back!
